Ron has worked as on-air talent for more than 30 years in the media. Most recently for 25 years in Las Vegas. 

He has worked on-air in radio markets from Los Angeles to New York. His radio accolades include WFAN in New York, KDWN (50,000 watt AM station) in Las Vegas, along with many other stations.  Ron has done everything from news talk, to news reporting, to sports talk and radio sales and production.

Ron worked as a news reporter for the ABC station in Salt Lake City, Utah, but is best known for his work for 25 years with KTNV TV Las Vegas.  For 20 of those years he worked as the sports director and main sports anchor with the ABC affiliate. He closely covered the careers of Andre Agassi, Randall Cunningham, Greg Maddux and many others. He covered many great title fights through the 80’s and beyond.  He did reports for Good Morning America and KABC in Los Angeles on many of the legendary battles between boxers like Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler and Tommy Hearns. He also closely covered the career of Mike Tyson from start to finish. Ron was also at the forefront of covering the UFC during its infancy and through its tremendous success in Las Vegas.

Ron has covered every major sporting event in America. From the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals and the NCAA Final Four while covering the historic rise of UNLV Basketball. He has also covered many NASCAR races, the Indy 500 and the Mint 400 off-road race.

For 5 years of his TV career Ron was the main anchor on the top-rated morning news show in Las Vegas. His laid back, conversational style was an instant hit with viewers.
